Bengaluru, August 28: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is a dream destination for countless young aspirants. If you are among them, the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) units located near Thiruvananthapuram and in Bengaluru have announced openings for 19 various positions. An official notification has been released inviting applications from eligible candidates.
Among the 17 vacancies announced by ISRO-LPSC, there are 6 positions for Technical Assistant (Mechanical), 1 for Technical Assistant (Chemical), 1 for Technician ‘B’ (Electronic Mechanic), 9 for Technician ‘B’ (Fitter), 1 for Draftsman ‘B’ (Mechanical), and 1 for Fireman ‘A’.
The online application process commenced on August 18 at 2 PM, and the last date to apply is set for September 4. Interested and eligible candidates wishing to fill out the application form can complete their registration on the official ISRO-LPSC website before the deadline. The last date for submitting the application fee is September 7 at 2 PM.
Applicants must possess a first-class diploma in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution or university, along with an ITI/NTC/NAC in Electronic Mechanic/Fitter/Draftsman (Mechanical) trade after passing SSLC/SSC.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 25 to 35 years, depending on the position, calculated based on the last date for submitting the application form. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on application scrutiny, written examination, skill test, document verification, physical efficiency test (PET), and detailed medical examination (DME). Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹1,42,400, along with additional benefits and allowances. Candidates should note that the written examination and skill test will only be conducted at designated locations in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
While filling out the application form, all candidates must pay the prescribed application fee of ₹750 online. Candidates from the General/OBC/EWS categories will receive a refund of ₹250, while women/SC/ST/PWD/ex-servicemen will have their entire fee refunded.
