
Bengaluru, June 23: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced a significant recruitment drive for the Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru. A total of 95 positions for Graduate, Diploma, and Trade Apprentices are available for the year 2026-2027.
Among the 95 vacancies, there are 62 Graduate Apprentice Trainee positions, 25 Diploma Apprentice Trainee positions, and 8 Trade IT positions. The training locations for these apprenticeships include Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Sri Vijaya Puram.
For the Graduate Apprentice Trainee roles, the distribution is as follows: 23 from Computer Science Engineering and related fields, 28 from Electronics and Communication Engineering, 3 from Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 4 from Mechanical Engineering, 1 from Civil Engineering, 1 from B.Sc. (CS/IT), and 2 from Library Science.
In the case of Diploma Apprentice Trainees, the positions are distributed as follows: 3 from Mechanical Engineering, 3 from Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 6 from Electronics and Communication Engineering, 1 from Civil Engineering, 7 from Computer Science Engineering, and 5 from Commercial Practice.
For the Trade IT positions, there are 4 openings for Electronics Mechanics, 1 for Machinist, 1 for Electrical, 1 for IT-TSM, and 1 for Fitter.
The application process began on June 22 and will close on July 31. Interested candidates are advised to upload their documents to the official email ID mentioned in the notification before the deadline. Candidates must register on the NATs portal before applying.
Applicants for the Graduate Apprentice Trainee positions should hold a BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution. For Diploma Apprentice Trainee positions, a diploma in the relevant field from a recognized state board is required, while Trade IT applicants must possess an ITI certificate from a recognized university or institution.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application review, shortlisting, document verification/interviews, final merit list, and medical fitness. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹9,600 for Trade IT, ₹10,900 for Diploma Apprentice Trainees, and ₹12,300 for Graduate Apprentice Trainees per month.
Interviews will be conducted in Lucknow on August 27 and 28 at the address: ISTRAC, Lucknow Sector-G, Janakipuram, Kursi Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – 226021. In Sri Vijaya Puram, interviews will take place on September 3 and 4 at ISTRAC, Sri Vijaya Puram Dollyganj, Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, PIN code: 744103.
In Bengaluru, interviews will be held on September 9 and 11 at ISTRAC, Bengaluru Plot 12 and 13, Third Main, Second Stage, Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru- 560058. Candidates are required to report to the interview centers by 8:30 AM.
All candidates attending the interviews should arrive on time and bring original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
