Mumbai, August 11: Renowned composer Ismail Darbar and his son Zaid Darbar have joined forces for a special music project titled ‘Us Khuda Se.’ In this song, Ismail has composed the music while Zaid has taken on the role of director. Zaid shared his experiences of working alongside his father on this project.
In an interview, Zaid expressed, “Some projects become a part of your heart even before reaching the audience, and ‘Us Khuda Se’ is exactly that for me. Working on this song with my father is a memory I will cherish forever.”
Reflecting on his childhood and the lessons learned from his father, Zaid noted, “I have closely observed my father create music. Therefore, having the opportunity to present my thoughts and vision on a song he composed is very special. We poured our hearts and efforts into this song. I truly hope that when people listen to it, they can feel the emotions behind it.”
Ismail Darbar also described the experience of collaborating with his son as deeply emotional and memorable. He stated, “Music has always been a medium for me to express emotions. ‘Us Khuda Se’ is a song that came straight from my heart. Working with Zaid was special because I was not just collaborating with a director, but with my son.”
He further explained that Zaid tried to understand and present the song from his perspective, making the entire experience even more memorable for him.
Ismail added, “Seeing my son understand music fills me with pride. Zaid incorporated his creative understanding while maintaining the song’s core essence, which is what makes this project special.”
Discussing his music and return, Ismail Darbar remarked, “Every artist has a unique musical identity that remains with them over time. ‘Us Khuda Se’ has brought me back to a time when melody, emotions, and the simplicity of music mattered the most. I wanted to return with music that genuinely comes from the heart and is not just prepared for the sake of releasing a song.”
