Mumbai, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, known as ‘Khiladi Kumar,’ is celebrating his 59th birthday today in Mumbai. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, he offered insights that have generated excitement for his upcoming film, ‘Hawan.’
On his special day, Akshay posted a video related to the film, expressing his perspective on life. He emphasized that things are not always as they seem. What may appear bad at first glance could have a different story behind it, and conversely, what seems good may not always be so.
In his post, he wrote, “On my birthday, a small thought… What looks bad is not always bad, and what looks good is not always good. Perhaps this is what ‘Hawan’ has taught me. Thank you for the love you have given me over the years. This Friday, I will show you a side of me you have never seen before. See you in theaters. With love and prayers, yours, Akshay.”
Notably, Akshay has portrayed a variety of characters throughout his career, but his role in ‘Hawan’ is set to be quite different from his previous performances.
In ‘Hawan,’ Akshay plays a dangerous assassin whose calm exterior hides a troubled past that gradually reveals his violent tendencies. The storyline features a clash between his character and that of Saif Ali Khan, who plays a blind martial artist determined to save a young girl. Audiences can expect intense action scenes between the two stars.
This film marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan on screen after nearly 18 years. The duo last appeared together in the 2008 film ‘Tashan.’ Directed by Priyadarshan, ‘Hawan’ is set to hit theaters on September 11.
