Mumbai, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : The film “Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva,” featuring actor Ranbir Kapoor, has officially marked its fourth anniversary since its release. The film’s creators celebrated the milestone on September 9, sharing nostalgic moments from the project.
To commemorate the occasion, the filmmakers posted a montage video on Instagram, showcasing key scenes and cast members. The caption read, “Above all, love, light, and faith. Celebrating four years of ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.’”
This Hindi-language fantasy action-adventure film is penned and directed by Ayan Mukerji. Produced under the banners of Dharma Productions, Star Studios, and Prime Focus, it emerged as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2022.
“Brahmastra” is the inaugural installment of the new Indian cinematic universe known as ‘Astraverse.’ The film stars Ranbir Kapoor alongside Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan made a special cameo as Mohan Bhargav, a scientist affiliated with a secret society called ‘Brahmansh,’ who wields the power of the Vanarastra.
The narrative centers around Shiva (played by Kapoor), a regular DJ in Mumbai with an unusual immunity to fire. During his journey, he falls in love with Isha (Alia Bhatt). As Shiva discovers his mysterious connection to fire, he becomes entwined in the quest to protect the Brahmastra, the universe’s most powerful weapon.
Guru (Amitabh Bachchan) guides Shiva into the realm of his powers and weapons, while the villainous Junoon (Mouni Roy) seeks to seize the Brahmastra for herself. The film is noted for its cutting-edge visual effects and a modern twist on Indian mythology.
