New Delhi, June 7: The Indian women’s football team achieved a remarkable feat by winning the SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 on Saturday. In the final match, the team defeated Bangladesh with a score of 3-1, claiming the title after a seven-year gap. President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan congratulated the team on this outstanding achievement.

President Droupadi Murmu expressed her congratulations on her official X account, stating, “Congratulations to the Indian women’s football team for winning the SAFF Women’s Championship 2026. Our players showcased exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Vice President C.P.
