
New Delhi, June 10: Yael Smadja, co-founder of the India Global Innovation Connect (IGIC), praised the Indian startup scene during the IGIC event held in Delhi. She stated that the startup ecosystem here has evolved into a global narrative.
In her remarks, Smadja emphasized, “The Indian startup ecosystem is no longer confined to India; it has established its identity on a global scale.” She noted that the primary aim of IGIC is to connect Indian startups and the innovation ecosystem with innovation networks from other countries.
Smadja further elaborated, “The Indian startup ecosystem is not just a story of India; it has transformed into a global tale. The core objective of IGIC is to link the Indian innovation framework with foreign ecosystems and create new collaboration opportunities.”
This year marks the first time IGIC is being held in New Delhi, and the organizers are excited about the event. She mentioned that the participation of the Indian government has been secured, which will strengthen this initiative.
