Indian Nationals Injured in Iranian Attack Out of Danger: Embassy Reports

New Delhi, March 2: The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates has reported that Indian nationals were among those injured in the recent Iranian attack. The Indian Embassy in the UAE confirmed that the injured individuals are out of danger and are receiving all necessary assistance.

The UAE’s Ministry of Defense issued an update regarding the casualties from the Iranian attack, noting that there were fatalities among Pakistani, Nepali, and Bangladeshi citizens.

Additionally, the report highlighted that a total of 58 individuals from various nationalities, including Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, and Afghan, sustained minor injuries.

In response, the Indian Embassy stated that they are aware of the injuries to Indian nationals and are in contact with hospital officials. They assured that the injured citizens are safe and that every possible support is being provided.

Since the onset of the Iranian attacks, the UAE Air Force and air defense forces have intercepted 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 541 Iranian drones. On the morning of the second day of the attacks, the UAE Air Force successfully destroyed 20 ballistic missiles, while eight missiles fell into the sea. They also neutralized two cruise missiles and 311 drones.

The Ministry reported that debris from intercepted missiles and drones fell in various areas, causing minor to moderate damage to several civilian properties.

The Ministry emphasized its full readiness to address any threats and reiterated that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors remains the highest priority, with no compromises allowed.
