Indian Air Force Hosts Key Seminar for Master Warrant Officers in Western Command

New Delhi, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : The Indian Air Force’s Western Command (WAC) organized an important seminar for its Master Warrant Officers (MWOs) on September 14, 2026, at the WAC headquarters in New Delhi.

Air Marshal George Thomas, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Command, chaired the event. MWOs from all Air Force stations within the command’s jurisdiction attended the seminar.

The primary goal of the gathering was to provide a platform for sharing best practices, exchanging ideas, and discussing areas for improvement. Key topics included enhancing the work environment, addressing everyday challenges, and strengthening welfare initiatives for airmen and their families.

Discussions emphasized the crucial role of MWOs in fostering effective communication, professionalism, and a welfare-oriented approach within the organization. Air Marshal Thomas highlighted that MWOs serve as a vital link between airmen and officers. They not only uphold discipline and professionalism but also play a significant role in conveying welfare concerns to the command.

The seminar reaffirmed the Western Command’s commitment to personnel welfare, continuous improvement, and professional excellence. Officials indicated that such meetings will continue in the future to better understand and address challenges at the grassroots level.
