Guwahati, May 22: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has announced the recruitment of candidates for various positions under the ‘ISEA Project – Phase III’ in its Computer Science and Engineering Department. This includes one Project Assistant and two Assistant Project Engineer positions on a contractual basis.
The online application process for these posts has commenced, with the deadline set for May 23. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete their registration on the IIT Guwahati Research and Development Cell’s recruitment portal by Saturday to avoid missing this excellent opportunity.
Applicants for the Assistant Project Engineer position must hold a B.Tech degree in CSE, ECE, IT, or a related field from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in cybersecurity. For the Project Assistant role, candidates should possess a graduation degree in BCA or B.Sc in Computer Science or a related field. Knowledge of office automation tools will be an added advantage.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on academic qualifications, experience, and suitability, followed by shortlisting and performance in an online interview. The monthly salary for the selected candidates will be ₹16,000 for the Project Assistant role and ₹27,000 for the Assistant Project Engineer position, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email to attend the interview scheduled for May 27. The expected date for joining the position is July 1 or earlier.
