Mumbai, March 20: In Bollywood, it’s common for major stars to expand their roles beyond acting, often stepping into production. Recently, Hrithik Roshan expressed interest in this transition. At a Prime Video event, he sought advice from renowned filmmaker Karan Johar on entering the production world.
During the event, Hrithik was present to launch his two new OTT shows, “Mass” and “Storm.” While on stage, he praised Karan Johar, calling him the best producer to date.
Hrithik directly asked Karan what he should do if he wanted to become a producer. Karan, visibly pleased, responded humorously. He mentioned that Hrithik doesn’t need special training since he has grown up in a film-oriented environment.
Karan noted that Hrithik’s father, Rakesh Roshan, is a successful filmmaker, and Hrithik himself began his career as an assistant director. He has been preparing for this role from the start.
Hearing this, Hrithik smiled and expressed that he felt much better. During the event, he also discussed his two new shows.
“Mass” tells the story of a group that breaks into a house with theft in mind, only to find themselves in a situation where they must save their own lives. Meanwhile, “Storm” revolves around five women and is based on a housing project scam. Both stories promise to deliver thrilling and suspenseful experiences to the audience.
