Applicants must have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution or board, along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Alternatively, candidates may hold a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) with the same percentage. Additionally, passing the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) for Junior Basic Teacher is required.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 45 years as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on an online written examination, screening test, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹18,000.
All applicants will need to pay an examination fee of ₹100 and a processing fee of ₹700 for their applications to be accepted. A correction window for applicants who make errors while filling out the form will be available from April 9 to April 16, with an additional fee of ₹100 required for corrections.
