Ahmedabad, April 18: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel addressed an electoral gathering in Aravalli district on Friday, stating that Gujarat is the leading state in job creation in the country. Speaking at the ‘Vikas Sankalp Sabha’ held in Sathamba village of Bayad taluka, Patel emphasized that if any state provides the most employment opportunities, it is Gujarat. He attributed this achievement to sustainable development policies and infrastructure expansion.
He highlighted a corridor project approved at a cost of ₹1,600 crores, asserting that such investments will ensure that the pace of development remains unhampered.
Reiterating the vision of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he remarked that working only during elections is not the party’s style; rather, staying connected with the public and addressing their issues is the hallmark of BJP workers.
Patel further noted that opposition candidates rarely engage with the public after elections. He compared this to the consistent presence of BJP workers during crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
He mentioned that since Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, elections have increasingly focused on development issues. In today’s technological era, he stressed the importance of accountability for the work done.
He also stated that Prime Minister Modi has paved the way for development across the country. Reflecting on past challenges, Patel recalled the difficulties Gujarat faced concerning water, electricity, and roads. He asserted that by setting “high targets,” Modi ensured 24-hour electricity and the supply of Narmada water to homes, which has continuously strengthened public trust.
Detailing measures taken for farmers and landowners, Patel announced that the state government has decided to directly amend land records, transitioning land conditions from old ownership to new ownership.
