Grieving Mother Accuses In-Laws of Harassment After Daughters Murder

Azamgarh, September 23 (Daily Kiran) : A mother in Azamgarh has leveled serious allegations against her daughter’s in-laws following the tragic shooting death of her child. Rasa Singh reported that she received the devastating news around 6 PM, learning over the phone that her daughter had been shot.

In an interview, Rasa Singh revealed that shortly after the incident, her daughter’s in-laws allegedly insisted that the body should not be cremated by her family. She accused them of making continuous derogatory remarks about her daughter’s character, claiming that similar accusations had surfaced previously. Rasa expressed her outrage and sorrow over these false allegations.

According to Rasa, her family had faced harassment since her daughter’s marriage. They have been troubled by the mysterious disappearance of her son-in-law and other familial disputes.

During the conversation, Rasa mentioned that she had heard about a five-day prayer ritual being conducted for Arvind, the alleged shooter. Initially, she thought it was a prayer for family peace, but later events raised her suspicions. She noted that various rumors have emerged since the shooting, adding to her family’s distress.

Rasa also reported that two children were injured in the incident, with one child sustaining a gunshot wound to the hand. Medical updates indicated the child’s condition was stable, but Rasa lamented the loss of her son-in-law.

She stated that police arrived at the scene and spoke with her, gathering information about the community’s reactions following the tragedy. Rasa urged for a thorough investigation into the matter.
