Prime Minister Modi will engage with Seva Yatra participants on September 24, highlighting community service and youth involvement.

New Delhi, September 23 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a video conference with participants of the ‘Seva Yatra’ on September 24 at 9 AM. This initiative involves over 500 young volunteers traveling by motorcycle from Vadnagar to Varanasi in ten groups.
Launched on September 17, the journey transcends a simple motorcycle ride. The teams are spreading a spirit of service across towns, districts, talukas, and villages. The campaign emphasizes community engagement, cultural connection, and social welfare.
Running until October 7, the ‘Seva Yatra’ aims to cover a distance of 35,500 kilometers over 22 days, coinciding with Prime Minister Modi’s birthday and marking 25 years of his public service.
According to a statement from the BJP, the volunteers are actively engaging with communities, promoting cleanliness, animal welfare, elder care, and awareness of government schemes. They are not just passing through; they are stopping to meet locals and participate in various activities that address community needs.
These activities include cleanliness drives at ponds, temples, schools, parks, and hospitals, as well as interactions with beneficiaries. The volunteers are also distributing books and stationery to students and providing assistance to those in need at hospitals, orphanages, and old age homes. Additionally, kits are being distributed to widows, and community members are coming together for various welfare initiatives.
