According to police reports, during interrogation, the suspect confessed to murdering his acquaintance, Jasveer Maurya, who worked at a cricket ground. Based on the suspect’s information, police recovered several crucial items near the crime scene.

Police stated that Govind Sharma had been living in a rented house in Roza Jalalpur for about four years, working as a carpenter. He frequently visited the RCG cricket ground to watch matches, where he developed a friendship with Jasveer Maurya. Their relationship grew, and they began visiting each other’s homes.
