Gorakhpur to Receive 226 Development Projects Worth Over ₹926 Crore

Mumbai, June 14: Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh is set to witness a significant boost in development on Sunday, with the launch of 226 projects costing over ₹926 crore. These initiatives will include the inauguration and groundbreaking of various development works. Additionally, beneficiaries of several government welfare schemes will receive certificates during the event.

In a post on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated, “Today, new dimensions of development, public trust, and welfare will be added in the sacred land of Mahayogi Guru Shri Gorakhnath in Gorakhpur. With the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone for 226 development projects worth over ₹926 crore, certificates will also be distributed to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes. The double-engine government’s commitment is to ensure that every achievement in development reaches the last person in society, allowing every citizen of Uttar Pradesh to participate in this campaign of good governance, security, and prosperity.”

Previously, on Saturday, CM Yogi inaugurated or laid the foundation for 319 welfare projects costing over ₹295 crore in Gorakhpur. Congratulating the residents, he mentioned that the double-engine government’s efforts are providing better job opportunities for the youth in their own regions.

In another post on X, he remarked, “The rapid advancement of the development process has become the identity of the ‘New Uttar Pradesh.’ Today, in the sacred land of Mahayogi Guru Shri Gorakhnath, we inaugurated or laid the foundation for 319 welfare projects worth over ₹295 crore. Thanks to the double-engine government’s efforts, the youth are now finding better employment opportunities in their own areas. Heartfelt congratulations to the residents of Gorakhpur.”
