
Aizawl, August 27: A significant opportunity has emerged for those preparing for government jobs and awaiting vacancies. The Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) has officially announced openings for various Group ‘B’ (non-gazetted) positions across different departments.
The vacancies include six Junior Accounts Officer (JAO) positions in the Transport Department and two Warden positions in the Social Welfare, Women, and Child Development Department.
The online application process commenced on August 20 and will remain open until September 21. Candidates interested in these positions can complete their registration on the MPSC official website by 4 PM on the final date.
Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institution or university for the Junior Accounts Officer (JAO) role, with a preference for commerce graduates. For the Warden position, a graduation degree in any subject is also required.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 35 years, calculated as of August 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, proficiency in the Mizo language, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary under the pay matrix level – 7 for the Junior Accounts Officer (JAO) position and level – 6 for the Warden role. Additional benefits and allowances will also be provided.
