Gold Prices Decline, Becomes Cheaper by Up to ₹1,860 in One Week

New Delhi, 17 August (Kiran News). The domestic bullion market has witnessed a decline in gold prices for the sixth consecutive day. As a result of this fall, 24-carat gold was trading between ₹1,01,180 and ₹1,01,330 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country on Sunday. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling between ₹92,750 and ₹92,900 per 10 grams. In contrast to gold, silver saw a slight rise and was sold at ₹1,16,200 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market today.

On a weekly basis, due to significant fluctuations from Monday to Saturday, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by up to ₹1,860 per 10 grams in most bullion markets. Likewise, 22-carat gold became cheaper by up to ₹1,700 per 10 grams during the last week. Like gold, silver also saw fluctuations, leading to a weekly decline of ₹800 per kilogram.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,01,330 per 10 grams today, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹92,900 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,01,180 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹92,750 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, 24-carat gold’s retail price was ₹1,01,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was ₹92,800 per 10 grams. In Chennai, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,01,180 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹92,750 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,01,180 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was at ₹92,750 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow’s bullion market, 24-carat gold was sold at ₹1,01,330 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹92,900 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold was ₹1,01,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was sold at ₹92,800 per 10 grams. In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,01,330 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹92,900 per 10 grams.

Like other states, gold became cheaper today in the bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,01,180 per 10 grams. Similarly, in the bullion markets of these cities, 22-carat gold was being sold at ₹92,750 per 10 grams.
