Panaji, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) has announced the recruitment of 31 Trainee Project Executive positions on a contractual basis. This opportunity is available for candidates under 28 years of age, making it an attractive prospect for young professionals.
The vacancies include 9 positions for Trainee Project Executive – Mechanical, 12 for Trainee Project Executive – Electrical, 5 for Trainee Project Executive – Electronics, 1 for Trainee Project Executive – Finance, and 4 for Trainee Project Executive – Naval Architecture.
The online application process began on September 4 and will close on October 3. Interested candidates can complete their application on the official Goa Shipyard Limited website until 5 PM on the deadline.
Applicants must hold a four-year full-time regular BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) degree relevant to the position from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates should have qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, or a two-year PG Diploma/PG Degree in Finance.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 28 years, calculated as of July 31, 2026. Relaxation in the age limit is available for candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
Selection will be based on application screening, a written examination, document verification, and a group discussion/interview. The starting salary for selected candidates will be ₹35,000 per month, along with additional benefits.
Candidates should note that an application fee of ₹500 is applicable for General/OBC/EWS categories, while exemptions are provided for GSL Graduate Apprentices, GSL Advanced Trainees (current or former), SC/ST/PWD, and ex-servicemen.
It is important to mention that the initial appointment will be for two years, with a possibility of extension for an additional year.
