New Delhi, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially moved its office to a new location on Minto Road in South Delhi. This transition was announced by an agency official on Monday.
In a circular, the NTA’s administrative director informed all candidates, students, educational institutions, stakeholders, service providers, and the general public about the change. He urged everyone to direct future official correspondence to the new address: National Testing Agency (NTA), 5th Floor, Government of India Press Building, Minto Road, New Delhi – 110002.
During the recent BRICS Summit in 2026, NTA Director General Abhishek Singh proposed collaboration among member countries in the education sector. He emphasized the need to limit the use of AI technology, which could adversely affect students’ cognitive skills.
Singh noted that students and educators are grappling with challenges arising from the adoption of AI technology. Many countries are considering restrictions on its use, particularly among school and college students, due to its potential impact on cognitive thinking. He stressed the necessity for a common framework and assessment standards that can be shared across nations.
Highlighting efforts to strengthen the public examination system in India, Singh indicated that the final format of these assessments could be shared with other countries, similar to digital public infrastructure.
He added that the agency is in the process of fortifying its systems. Once this is accomplished, the NTA plans to enhance its examination methods. After perfecting these processes for Indian students, the next logical step would be to share them with the global community.
Singh also mentioned exploring ways to advance the Delhi Declaration adopted at the BRICS Summit, particularly regarding the sharing of knowledge and best practices in technology. He expressed a desire to disseminate the best practices showcased during the summit.
