Panaji, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa has opened up an excellent opportunity for those seeking academic positions. A recent notification on their official website details the recruitment of candidates for various faculty roles, including 28 positions ranging from Assistant Professors to Professors.
The available posts include 16 Assistant Professor Grade-II (Level-10), 16 Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level-12), 8 Associate Professors (Level-13A2), and 4 Professors (Level-14A).
The application process began online on August 31 and will close on September 30. Interested candidates can complete their registration on the NIT Goa website by 5 PM on the deadline.
Once the online application is submitted, candidates must send a hard copy of their application along with all required documents to the Registrar at NIT Goa Campus, Kottamol Plateau, Cuncolim Municipal Area, Salcete Taluka, South Goa District, Goa State, PIN-403703. This must be done by 5 PM on October 7.
Applicants are required to hold a PhD and possess relevant experience ranging from 3 to 13 years, depending on the position. Selection will be based on application review, credit points, presentations, and personal interviews. Salaries for selected candidates will range from ₹70,900 to ₹1,59,100 per month, along with additional benefits.
Candidates must pay the application fee online. The fee is set at ₹1,500 for General/OBC (male) applicants and ₹500 for General/OBC (female) applicants. Those from SC/ST/PWD/EWS categories are exempt from the registration fee.
