Ghaziabad Shaken by Omkar Kidnapping and Murder Case: Political Reactions Emerge

Ghaziabad, May 31: The kidnapping and murder of Omkar in the Loni area of Ghaziabad has sent shockwaves throughout the region. The incident has prompted significant reactions from both law enforcement and political circles. In light of the seriousness of the case, police have intensified their investigation and deployed multiple teams to address the situation.

BJP legislator Nand Kishore Gurjar described the incident as deeply tragic, stating that it has profoundly affected not just Ghaziabad or Uttar Pradesh, but the entire Sanatani community across the country. He accused the perpetrators of committing an unforgivable crime by using the context of the Eid al-Adha sacrifice to instill fear in society.

Gurjar emphasized that the police are diligently working on the case, and despite the gravity of the incident, the Hindu community has maintained peace. He praised the actions of the Yogi government and the police, noting that the work of UP police is being recognized nationwide. He expressed hope that strict action would be taken against all conspirators involved in the case, and mentioned that the police might reveal significant developments soon, ensuring that the guilty are not spared.

He also expressed confidence that those calling for bulldozer actions and other conspirators would face severe consequences, stating that such measures would deter any future jihadist activities for years to come.

According to Additional Police Commissioner Rajkaran Nair, a complaint regarding the kidnapping and murder was received, leading to the registration of a case. Six special teams have been formed to investigate the matter. Police officials have visited the victim’s family in the village to gather information related to the incident. So far, four suspects have been detained for questioning.

Nair confirmed that to ensure an impartial investigation, the officer in charge of the Loni police station has been suspended, and preliminary investigation orders have been issued. He stated that each team has been assigned specific responsibilities, and all aspects of the investigation are being taken seriously.
