Guwahati, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : Congress MP and Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi, expressed his sorrow on September 8 over the death of Manipuri musician Chongtham Vikram Singh. Singh was allegedly beaten to death after he objected to loud music outside his residence in South Delhi.

In a heartfelt tribute shared on social media, Gogoi stated that the entire Northeast stands in solidarity with Singh’s family during this tragic time. He described Singh as a humble individual, devoid of arrogance, who had no animosity towards anyone and was simply passionate about music.
