New Delhi, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Senior Janata Dal (United) leader Rajiv Ranjan has come forward to defend Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary’s leadership in Bihar, particularly in response to a letter from Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav regarding demands from public distribution system (PDS) vendors. Ranjan criticized Yadav, stating that he is often absent from his home state and is known only for his statements, while Bihar continues to progress.
Tejashwi Yadav has frequently raised concerns about alleged corruption within various departments of the Bihar government and the administration’s handling of flood situations. In an interview, Ranjan remarked that Yadav is notorious for making headlines rather than engaging with the challenges faced by the state. He noted that during critical times, such as floods or droughts, Yadav is rarely seen in Bihar.
Ranjan expressed confidence in the state’s trajectory, asserting that the progress made over the past 20 years under Nitish Kumar is being effectively continued by Samrat Chaudhary. He dismissed the influence of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in the current political landscape.
Responding to comments made by BJP National President Nitin Naveen, Ranjan emphasized the crucial role of Generation Z, Generation Alpha, and millennials in shaping a developed India by 2047. He criticized Rahul Gandhi for viewing students’ grievances through a political lens, claiming he fails to understand the issues faced by students in Jharkhand and Punjab.
Following a tragic incident in Delhi’s Satya Niketan, which raised concerns about the safety of postgraduate students, Ranjan called for timely guidelines to ensure their protection. He described the incident as deeply saddening and noted that significant actions have been taken by the Delhi government, including the suspension of several officials. He urged that all measures taken to enhance student safety must be effectively implemented.
