City, February 8: The GATE 2026 exam commenced on February 7, and today marks the second day of the assessment. The first day concluded successfully, with exams held in two shifts. The second shift’s exam wrapped up at 5:30 PM. Candidates who participated in the second shift reported that the GATE CH question paper ranged from easy to medium difficulty, while those in the first shift described the paper as medium, noting that the General Aptitude (GA) section was easier.
