Noida, August 5: The police in Noida have achieved a significant breakthrough by arresting four notorious thieves involved in the theft of iron angles from NPCIL power poles. The authorities recovered approximately 50 kilograms of stolen iron angles, the Tata Ace loader vehicle used in the crime, a ladder, a pair of electric-free gloves, and three helmets from the suspects.
On the night of August 4, unknown thieves stole iron angles from NPCIL power poles located near RC Green in the Surajpur area. Upon learning of the incident, an authorized NPCIL officer (JE) filed a complaint at the Surajpur police station, leading to the registration of a case.
To uncover the incident, the Surajpur police activated local intelligence and confidential information networks. Based on accurate information received during the investigation, the police team set up a blockade on Migsun Vilasa Road and arrested all four suspects. During interrogation and searches, the stolen iron angles, the Tata Ace loader, a ladder, three helmets, and a pair of electric-free gloves were recovered. The arrested individuals have been identified as Tushar Saini (20), Surendra Singh (35), Shiva Yadav (23), and Aditya Raj (23).
Currently residing in Sigma-1, within the Dadri police jurisdiction, their original homes are in the districts of Amroha, Mainpuri, and Hathras. Police investigations revealed that the suspects had come prepared to execute the theft. They used a ladder and safety equipment to extract the iron angles from the power poles and loaded the stolen goods into the Tata Ace loader for transport. The police acted swiftly, recovering the stolen items and apprehending the entire gang.
The Surajpur police have initiated the process of presenting the suspects before the court in connection with the registered case. Authorities are also investigating the suspects’ criminal history to determine if they have been involved in similar thefts previously.
