FIR Filed Against Tej Pratap Yadav for Alleged Trespassing in Bihar

Patna, June 19: A political controversy erupted in Bihar when an FIR was filed against Tej Pratap Yadav, the national president of the Jan Shakti Party, following a court order. The complaint was lodged at the Patliputra police station by Akash Yadav, the brother of Anushka Yadav, who has been publicly linked to Tej Pratap.

After the FIR was registered, police initiated an investigation into the allegations. According to ASP (Law and Order) Divyanjali Jaiswal, the complainant claimed to have received death threats and provided an audio recording as evidence.

The police stated that these threats were allegedly made from a number based in the United States, and all aspects of the complaint are currently under investigation. The FIR indicates that the incident occurred on June 6, when Tej Pratap Yadav and his associate Motilal Yadav reportedly attempted to enter Akash Yadav’s home while Akash was away on a pilgrimage.

The complaint alleges that they attempted to forcefully enter the house and threatened family members present there. Akash Yadav also claimed that threats were made against his family, followed by a call from Motilal Yadav and another individual who identified himself as a member of a criminal gang.

According to the complaint, the caller warned him not to speak publicly against Tej Pratap. In response to the FIR, Tej Pratap Yadav vehemently denied all accusations, labeling the case as politically motivated and entirely fabricated.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, he stated that the complaint was filed out of personal vendetta after legal notice was issued regarding the complainant’s conduct. He asserted that the allegations aimed to tarnish his public image and political stature.

Tej Pratap emphasized his respect for democratic values, the rule of law, and constitutional institutions. He accused his critics of spreading falsehoods and misusing legal processes for character assassination. He expressed full confidence in the judiciary, believing that the truth will emerge through evidence and due legal process. Tej Pratap indicated that he would pursue all available legal remedies against those attempting to defame him.
