Family Demands Justice in Gagandeep Singh Randhawa Suicide Case

Amritsar, March 23: The family of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, a district manager at the Punjab Warehousing Corporation (PWC), has leveled serious allegations against the government following his tragic death. They issued a warning, stating that if the accused are not arrested within 24 hours, they will take to the streets and make sacrifices of their own.

Former Punjab minister Laljit Bhullar is accused of harassing Gagandeep Singh. Before his death, Gagandeep recorded a video naming the former minister. The family has called upon the people of Punjab to stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time.

Gagandeep’s wife expressed her frustration on Monday, noting that although he passed away on March 21, no action has been taken by the authorities as of March 23. They demand the arrest of the accused, yet the government has remained silent. She emphasized that if no action is taken, they will take their children to the streets, willing to make their own sacrifices. Furthermore, she stated that if the Punjab government ignores their plea, they will demand a CBI investigation.

A relative of Gagandeep remarked, “He left saying that he was being sacrificed, and this should not go in vain. What happened to Gagandeep could happen to anyone if the government does not intervene.” They urged the authorities to expedite the arrest of the culprits.

Gagandeep’s daughter added, “The accused claim the allegations are baseless and lack evidence. However, there is substantial proof regarding my father’s death. He received ten calls from an official number. A technical and forensic investigation is necessary to reveal the truth. The accused should be arrested immediately and denied bail.”
