A major fraud racket promising contractual Nursing Officer jobs at SRG Hospital in Jhalawar has been exposed. Acting swiftly under the directions of Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar, police have arrested two key accused involved in cheating unemployed youths by charging ₹50,000 to ₹2 lakh per person.

SP Kumar said the investigation began after a complaint was filed on 12 November at Kotwali Police Station by Lokesh Meena, a resident of Baran. The complainant reported that two individuals took a total of ₹8 lakh from him and three others by offering fake job appointments.
Police laid a trap and detained main accused Saddam Hussain alias Sunny Pathan along with a luxury car. Another accused, Rajesh Mishra, who runs the Rakshak Placement Agency at SRGH, was also arrested. Both have been booked under serious charges of cheating.
The Modus Operandi
According to police, placement agency operator Rajesh Mishra would share mobile numbers of unemployed youths with Saddam Pathan. Saddam would gain their trust, collect advance money and documents, and then issue forged appointment letters using fake seals and signatures.
To convince the victims, the accused even recorded their names in a fake attendance register, shared attendance photos, and transferred one month’s salary in advance to their bank accounts.
Police have seized crucial evidence from Saddam, including fake appointment letters, forged seals of the hospital superintendent, fake attendance registers, bank cheques, expensive mobile phones, and a luxury car.
Both accused have been taken on remand for further questioning to identify others involved in the racket.
