Exciting News for 10th Pass Youth: 1,191 Trade Apprentice Vacancies Announced by SECR

Raipur, June 8: A significant opportunity has emerged for youth seeking employment. The South East Central Railway (SECR) in Bilaspur has released an official notification inviting applications for a total of 1,191 trade apprentice positions. The last date to apply for these positions is set for June 11.

The vacancies include 38 positions for carpenters, 350 for COPA (with 325 divisions and 25 headquarters/construction), 12 for civil draftsmen, 206 for electricians, 4 for mechanical electricians, 223 for fitters, 4 for machinists, 41 for painters, 30 for plumbers, 40 for mechanical (RAC), 4 for SMW, 36 for engineering stenographers (with 21 divisions and 15 headquarters/construction), 25 for Hindi stenographers (with 15 divisions and 10 headquarters/construction), 8 for diesel mechanics, 4 for turners, 20 for welders, 125 for wiremen, 4 for chemical laboratory assistants, and 17 for track machine/BSP positions.

The online application process began on May 12, and candidates are advised to submit their registration forms by the deadline of June 11.

Applicants must have completed the 10th grade under the 10+2 system or an equivalent examination, or they should have completed an ITI course in relevant trades from a recognized institution.

The minimum age for candidates is set at 15 years, while the maximum age is 24 years, calculated as of June 11. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection will be based on academic qualifications, age merit, medical examinations, and other criteria. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend according to the rules of the Chhattisgarh state government.

To apply online, candidates should first visit the official portal of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS). After registering and logging in, they need to fill in all required information in the form. All necessary documents should be uploaded in the correct size. Finally, candidates should review the application form and submit it. It is advisable to keep a printed copy of the application for future reference.
