
New Delhi, May 22: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for those seeking high-paying jobs. The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has issued an official notification inviting applications for various positions, including scientific roles, from candidates currently employed in central/state government, union territories, recognized research institutions, autonomous bodies, statutory bodies, and public sector undertakings.
The DPCC has announced vacancies for 52 positions, which include 7 Senior Environmental Engineers, 15 Environmental Engineers, 11 Assistant Environmental Engineers, 1 Senior Scientist Level-II (Scientist-D), 2 Senior Scientists Level-I (Scientist-C), 1 Scientist-B, 4 Scientific Assistants, 5 Senior Laboratory Assistants, 1 Assistant Law Officer, and 5 Legal Assistants.
The offline application process commenced on May 18. The deadlines for submitting applications are as follows: the first phase by May 31, the second phase by June 15, and the third phase by June 30. Candidates intending to submit their application forms are advised to adhere to these deadlines.
Applicants must possess a relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil/Environmental/Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/ECE/Biomedical/Water Resources/Remote Sensing/GIS/Hydrology) from a recognized institution or university, along with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science, a Bachelor’s degree in Law, and experience in pollution control or related fields, laboratory work, or legal work. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria and skills in the relevant field.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application scrutiny, document verification, and assessment by the competent authority. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹2,09,200, depending on the position.
