
Varanasi, March 17: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to build a career in the educational sector. Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth (MGKVP) in Varanasi has officially announced the recruitment of a total of 92 positions, including Assistant Professors.
The online application process for these positions has commenced, with the deadline set for April 15. Eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to visit the official website and submit their application forms within the stipulated timeframe.
MGKVP is seeking applications for 92 teaching staff positions, which include 14 Professors, 14 Associate Professors, and 64 Assistant Professors. Applicants must meet the academic qualifications as per the UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Teachers) Regulations 2018, the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act 1973 (amended), and the Uttar Pradesh Public Service (Tribunal) Rules (amended).
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 62 years, with age relaxation available for candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹2,500 for General/OBC candidates and ₹2,000 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application screening, interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹57,700 to ₹144,200, depending on the position.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official MGKVP website. After reaching the homepage, they should click on the active application link related to the announced positions. Following this, candidates need to register and log in. They must fill in all required information in the form, upload necessary documents in the correct size, pay the application fee, and finally check and submit the form. It is advisable to print a copy of the application form for future reference.
Additionally, candidates must send a hard copy of the application form, along with supporting documents, to the university via speed post by April 25.
