Mumbai, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : Esha Rikhie is experiencing significant changes in her life following her recent split from renowned rapper Badshah. Known for keeping her personal life private, Esha has now chosen to open up about herself while participating in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 20.’ Rather than dwelling on her past, she aims to focus on her personal growth.
In an interview, Esha shared, “I never thought I would be part of ‘Bigg Boss.’ I have always been a private person and believed that the show’s environment was completely different from my life. When I received the offer, I didn’t say yes right away. I took time to reflect on my hesitations that kept me away from the show. Ultimately, I decided it was time to leave fear behind and embrace this opportunity.”
Esha believes that going through tough times can reveal a person’s true strength. “After everything I’ve faced, I now feel I can handle myself in this show and stay strong. Even though I’ve spent considerable time in the film industry, I always thought I wasn’t suited for a show like ‘Bigg Boss.’ However, I realized that confidence matters more than the setting. I can establish my identity anywhere I go,” she explained.
She views this show as a chance to present herself authentically. “I hope the audience will see who I really am and what my personality is like. For an artist, maintaining a private life is challenging. Public opinions and discussions can sometimes affect our work. I have always followed my heart and never tried to be part of any race,” she added.
Regarding questions about her personal life, Esha stated, “Whatever situation arises, I will handle it in the moment. I don’t want to expend energy on topics I prefer not to discuss. I won’t be providing explanations to everyone. What I choose not to share will remain with me.”
Esha also commented on the inevitable conflicts that arise in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. “Fighting is common, even among family and friends in real life. However, I’m unsure how far these disputes will escalate within the show,” she remarked.
Her entry into ‘Bigg Boss 20’ comes at a time when her personal life is already under scrutiny. Recently, Esha and Badshah announced their amicable separation, urging the public to respect their privacy. During the show, she has touched upon her broken trust and the challenges she faced, though she refrained from mentioning any names. Salman Khan has advised her to leave the past behind and focus on the present.
Esha’s career began in Punjabi cinema, where she transitioned from modeling to acting in films such as ‘Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De,’ ‘Happy Go Lucky,’ and ‘Ardaas.’ She made her Hindi film debut in 2018 with ‘Nawabzaade.’
