Empowering Women: Shaina NC on the Nari Shakti Vandan Act

Mumbai, April 15: Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has responded to the Women’s Reservation Bill and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent phone conversation with the U.S. President.

In an interview, Shaina NC stated, “Our leader Eknath Shinde has written to the Prime Minister congratulating him on the Nari Shakti Vandan Act. Following the path shown by Balasaheb Thackeray, Shiv Sena is committed to respecting women and securing their rights. ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ is not just a slogan but a pledge, ensuring women receive their rightful share in policy-making. After 27 years of waiting, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act is finally taking shape. This act will empower women.”

Regarding the conversation between Prime Minister Modi and the U.S. President, Shaina NC remarked, “Prime Minister Modi has always believed in diplomatic dialogue. The main aim of the discussion regarding tensions in West Asia was to maintain peace, openness, and strengthen bilateral cooperation through solid processes. This includes enhancing India-U.S. relations and global strategic partnerships.”

Earlier, on April 13, Shaina NC emphasized, “The Nari Shakti Vandan Act is a necessity today. The people of this country, especially women, have waited for years. If we can contest 181 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, it will be a significant achievement, as individuals can showcase their talents only when given opportunities.”

Shaina NC also noted that Prime Minister Modi has supported the Nari Shakti Vandan Act without delay. She urged all political parties to demonstrate their political will during the discussions in the central cabinet and parliament.

On the Bengal assembly elections, Shaina NC expressed confidence that the BJP will form the government in Bengal. She believes the public trusts the BJP to drive development, which is why they will come to power.
