Pune, March 26: Suresh Joshi (Bhaiyaji), former General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stated on Thursday that the motivation behind religious conversions is to increase numerical strength. He emphasized that true leadership in the world can only be achieved by including everyone.
While addressing an event in Pune, he remarked, “The trend of converting individuals to Islam or Christianity is driven by the belief that those with larger numbers will be recognized as a global power. However, there exists a third group that is thoughtful.”
He clarified that this group is not limited to India but comprises honest and serious thinkers from around the world. Joshi asserted that only those who can unite everyone will lead the world, and this responsibility lies solely with India.
He further stated, “This is why it is India’s duty to bring the entire world together, which means it is the responsibility of Hindus and, in a sense, of a Hindu nation. We must strive for unity. This will establish peace, truth, and justice, while ending injustice and unrest.”
Bhaiyaji Joshi pointed out that the primary cause of global unrest today lies in two ideologies: material wealth and numerical strength. These factors lead people to suppress one another in a race for dominance.
He stressed that the essence of Indian culture and Hindu philosophy is to “carry everyone along.” This ideology can establish true peace, justice, and harmony in the world. India must recognize this responsibility and move forward as one family. Leadership based on numerical strength or material wealth is not sustainable. Only inclusive and comprehensive leadership, rooted in India’s ancient culture, can be truly effective.
