Mumbai, October 13 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Divyanka Tripathi is currently seen with her husband, Vivek Dahiya, on the reality show “Pati Patni Aur Panga.” Recently, she shared her experiences of returning to work after the birth of her twins.
Tripathi expressed the difficulty of leaving her children alone, especially as they grow and start exploring their surroundings. She noted that as her children develop, the nature of their care also evolves.
“At this stage, managing the kids is easier since they primarily sleep and eat. However, I know that soon they will start crawling. They are gradually becoming more mobile. It’s challenging for me to leave them alone for even two to four minutes, which is why I often bring them to the set. But this isn’t easy,” she explained.
The actress also addressed the surprise some people express regarding her quick return to work. “I always say that women don’t just ‘bounce back’ effortlessly. It’s not like that at all. Even though we actresses may appear smiling in front of the camera, internally we experience pain, fatigue, and confusion,” she stated.
Tripathi clarified that while she didn’t necessarily need to return to work, she chose to do so. She emphasized that being at home is not easy for mothers, nor is working.
She urged against comparing women’s journeys back to work after motherhood. “Everyone’s circumstances are different, so women should trust their own journeys rather than feel pressured by others’ experiences. I say this to discourage comparisons. Just because I have managed to return doesn’t mean it’s easy for everyone. Each person has their own pace,” she remarked.
Additionally, she expressed gratitude to her family and husband for their support in managing both motherhood and her career. “I am showing a lot of courage, but the reason behind it is Vivek. He stands by me every moment. My family encourages me, saying, ‘You can do it. Don’t overthink whether to wait or not; if you keep waiting, you’ll never start.’ I believe that working is good for our mental health,” she concluded.
