Mumbai, October 13 (Daily Kiran) : Social media personality Tahseen Poonawala has come out in support of his brother, Shehzad Poonawala, regarding his performance on the reality show “Rise and Fall 2.” He believes that Shehzad is wise enough to manage the situations he encounters on the show.
In a recent interview, Tahseen stated, “I am sure people will criticize and attack him. However, I have seen personal attacks directed at him, and I believe such behavior should be avoided. We should enjoy the reality show. Shehzad knows how to handle all of this.”
Tensions escalated during a heated exchange between Shehzad and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary on the show, where Priyanka accused Shehzad of playing the “victim card.” Tahseen responded, “No, this is a game, and when you play, others will react. However, I don’t think he tries to be a victim intentionally. If he wanted to play the victim card, he could do much more.”
He further explained, “When someone constantly insults you or comments on your surname, it’s natural to feel provoked. But living in a confined environment can create such situations.”
The show also featured an incident where contestant Shiv Thakur grabbed Shehzad’s neck and pushed him down. Tahseen commented on this behavior, saying, “I believe contestants can provoke each other, but that doesn’t mean you should resort to violence. No one should attack anyone, especially from behind. Regardless of the circumstances, fighting is unacceptable.”
Tahseen concluded by wishing his brother well, stating, “I hope he plays a good game, stays calm when necessary, and enjoys the show. The entire process should be about entertainment.”
