Dispute Over Free Fire Game ID Leads to Attempted Murder in Mumbai

Mumbai, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : In Mumbai, a violent altercation stemming from a dispute over an online gaming ID resulted in an attempted murder. The incident occurred in the Santacruz East area, where police have apprehended three suspects.

Salman Farooq Shah reported to authorities that the attack took place around 1:30 AM on September 30. He, along with his brother Dilshad Shah and friend Mohammad Sohel, were gathered on the steps near St. Rock Church in Kunchi Kurve Nagar when the conflict erupted.

Feeling hungry, Salman left to grab a meal at his home in Kismat Nagar, Kurla West. During this time, a friend from his village, Arbaaz Shah, called him, initiating a heated argument regarding a Free Fire game ID associated with Facebook. To resolve the issue, Salman provided Arbaaz with his brother Dilshad’s phone number.

A short while later, Salman received a call from his brother’s friend Samir, who informed him that “Arbaaz had slashed Dilshad’s throat.” Salman rushed towards Kalina, where he encountered an ambulance carrying his injured brother Dilshad, along with friends Parvez and Arbaaz. Dilshad was bleeding profusely from a knife wound to his neck.

Parvez and Arbaaz explained that Arbaaz had attacked Dilshad out of suspicion that Salman and his brother were using his Facebook ID to play the game. In a fit of rage, he launched a deadly assault on Dilshad.

The police have registered a case against the suspects Arbaaz Shah, Musahid Wakil Ahmed Khan, Kausar Ali Jameel Shah, and Anas Syed. The arrested individuals have been identified as Musahid Wakil Ahmed Khan, Arbaaz Shah, and Kausar Ali Jameel Shah. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
