NCP Leader Naseem Siddiqui Congratulates Indian Team on Asian Games Victory, Criticizes Government on Youth Issues

Mumbai, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Naseem Siddiqui, the national spokesperson for the NCP (SP), extended his congratulations to the Indian team for their gold medal victory at the Asian Games. He emphasized the importance of recognizing the talent among the nation’s youth and promoting sports talent in rural areas.

Reflecting on India’s triumph, Siddiqui noted the significance of defeating Pakistan to secure the gold medal. He commended all the athletes, stating that there is immense potential among the youth, and the government must make efforts to identify and nurture this talent. He expressed optimism that India could excel further in sports and rise to the top of the medal tally in future competitions.

On the recent approval of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) law in Gujarat, Siddiqui accused the government of diverting attention from pressing public issues. He called for a focus on inflation, unemployment, education, health, and agriculture. He insisted that the demands of the youth should be heard and that the government must address concerns regarding joblessness and rising costs. He claimed that the government is politicizing the UCC issue, predicting that the next administration would repeal such laws.

Regarding the FIRs filed against students in Delhi, Siddiqui pointed out that numerous students have faced charges, and several police officers have also been injured. He asserted that the voices of youth would continue to rise and that they would play a crucial role in driving change in the country. He criticized the central BJP government and the RSS, noting a growing discontent among the youth against the government.

Siddiqui also addressed the protests demanding the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar, stating that it is a serious issue that should not be politicized. He acknowledged Abhijit Dipke’s efforts to raise this matter and called for all political parties to support it collectively.

In response to remarks made by RSS leader Indresh Kumar regarding the India alliance and Muslim leaders, Siddiqui asserted that Kumar should refrain from commenting on Muslim issues. He suggested that instead of discussing community matters, Kumar should focus on the work of his organization.

When questioned about the absence of the Samajwadi Party and the Aam Aadmi Party in India alliance meetings, Siddiqui remarked that not all family members always agree on every issue. He stated that while the alliance comprises different parties, there is coordination among them. He emphasized that despite varying opinions, there is a unified stance on the need to remove the BJP. The collaboration among alliance members would become clearer as elections approach.
