Call for CBI Investigation into Allegations at Premanand Ashram in Mathura

Mathura, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Calls for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry have emerged in Mathura regarding serious allegations linked to the Premanand Ashram. Dinesh Falhari, president of the Shrikrishna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Nyas, along with Radhanand Giri from the Juna Akhara, has raised concerns over the circumstances surrounding the death of a disciple, Sharan Dulari Maharaj, and other incidents associated with the ashram.

Radhanand Giri has highlighted ongoing troubling events at the ashram, including a disturbing incident where a saint was allegedly thrown from the fourth floor. He emphasized the need for a scientific and impartial investigation, as the details surrounding the incident raise significant questions beyond a typical accident.

Additionally, Giri mentioned a case involving a child whose father has been pleading outside the ashram for three months to see his son. This child is reportedly the only son in the family, with four sisters. Giri insisted that even if a child chooses to stay at the ashram, their whereabouts and well-being should be communicated to their family. He called for an investigation into the matter to reunite the child with his parents.

Dinesh Falhari echoed these concerns, claiming that irregularities have reportedly persisted in the area linked to the ashram for some time. He demanded an investigation into the deaths of saints and the disappearance of children, asserting that minor children visit ashrams for Krishna devotion, and their parents should be informed about their status. Falhari also claimed that disputes surrounding the ashram have led to the alleged retreat of Saint Premanand Maharaj from the area. He accused the ashram of exerting pressure to remove parents of missing children and insisted that a thorough CBI investigation is necessary to uncover the truth behind these allegations.

Falhari has formally requested the Chief Minister to initiate a CBI inquiry into the entire situation. He has also urged the Child Welfare Commission to assess the conditions of minor children residing in ashrams and facilitate their return to their families. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the saint’s death, including previous claims of fear and mistreatment he allegedly faced. All aspects of this case warrant thorough scrutiny.
