Diksha and Aditi Maintain Top-20 Positions at London Championship

London, August 9: In the third round of the $2 million PIF London Championship at the Centurion Club, Diksha Dagar and Aditi Ashok have successfully secured their spots in the top 20. However, Pranavi Urs struggled and fell down the leaderboard due to challenging gameplay.

Diksha scored 1-over 72, climbing three places from a tie for 22nd to a tie for 19th. After starting the tournament with scores of 75 and 70, she now stands at 1-over 215 after 54 holes. Aditi, who began the day tied for 16th, maintained her position with another score of 73, placing her also in a tie for 19th.

Initially, Pranavi was the leading Indian player after the first two rounds, scoring 71 and 72 to reach a tie for 12th. However, her performance in the third round, where she scored 6-over 78, dropped her to a tie for 38th at 5-over 221.

As the highest-ranked Indian in the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit, Diksha aims to finish the tournament strongly in the final round. Leading the tournament is Canada’s Anna Huang, who solidified her grip on the competition with a bogey-free 8-under 65. The 18-year-old has reached 19-under and holds a three-shot lead over England’s Charlie Hull before the final round.

Huang has been at the forefront since the tournament began. After winning her third title in May, she started the third round with a birdie on the first hole, followed by another on the fourth. She continued her impressive performance with consecutive birdies on the eighth and ninth holes, repeating the feat on the 14th and 15th, and finished the round with an eagle on the 18th.

With a victory in London, Huang would become the youngest player to win four LET titles. Hull secured solo second place with a score of 6-under 67, bringing her total to 16-under. Following a remarkable 11-under performance on the second day, the five-time LET winner recorded nine birdies and three bogeys in her third round.

As the title race heads into the final round, the Indian trio will strive to finish their campaigns on a high note. Diksha and Aditi remain in the top 20, while Pranavi will look to recover from her third-round setback.
