Jammu, August 24: On the last Monday of the Shravan month, a significant crowd of devotees gathered at the historic Shiva temple. On this auspicious day, priests and devotees alike performed a special abhishek for Lord Shiva.
The priests present at the temple engaged in discussions, sharing insights about the temple’s grandeur. They encouraged everyone to visit and pay their respects in the divine court of Baba.
One priest remarked, “Today marks the last Monday of Shravan. With the blessings of Lord Shiva, we pray that all devotees come to pay their respects. Offering water at this self-manifested temple yields a hundred times more benefits than at other temples.”
He explained that many had come specifically to perform the abhishek for Lord Shiva on this day. “May the blessings of Lord Shiva remain with everyone. We are here to pray for peace and happiness in all homes,” he added.
A devotee shared, “Whenever I come here, all my wishes are fulfilled. I have never faced any troubles. I encourage everyone to visit and express their desires to Baba.”
Scholar Vimal Khajoria extended heartfelt greetings to all attendees on this significant day. “First, we bow to Baba on behalf of all the devotees present here,” he stated.
After chanting mantras, he urged everyone to seek the blessings of Baba. He prayed that those participating in the abhishek today would find prosperity and wisdom in their homes.
