
New Delhi, March 27: Today, the nation is alive with the spirit of Ram Navami, as temples across the country celebrate the birth of Lord Ram with great enthusiasm.
From Ayodhya to Ujjain, devotees are gathering in large numbers to participate in rituals and seek blessings at various temples. In Madhya Pradesh, numerous Ram temples are witnessing an influx of worshippers eager to have a divine glimpse of Lord Ram.
At the ancient Ram Janardhan Temple, linked to Lord Ram’s exile, a significant number of devotees have arrived for special rituals and the grand aarti. The temple resonates with chants of “Jai Shri Ram.” According to the temple priest, Rajesh, the Ram Janardhan Temple is one of the oldest in the country, where both Lord Ram and Narayan are believed to be present together.
The priest noted that during his exile, Lord Ram rested and bathed at this very location. Special rituals and chanting of Lord Ram’s name are customary during Ram Navami.
Meanwhile, the Gita Bhavan Ram Temple in Indore is also bustling with devotees. Here, special rituals, a 56-item feast, and celebrations for Lord Ram’s birth are drawing large crowds. Priest Jagdish Chandra Bhargav shared that today is particularly special for Ram devotees, as Lord Ram has been adorned and anointed with great care.
Devotees from far and wide, including saints from Mathura, are converging at the temple. Saint Sarvesh Chandra Maharaj expressed that on this auspicious occasion, Ram devotees are uniting, and the vision of establishing Ram Rajya in the country is becoming a reality, a dream cherished by every Hindu.
In Devas, Madhya Pradesh, the Khedapati Ram Temple is also witnessing a remarkable scene. The temple complex is filled with chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” and the priest mentioned that crowds have been growing since morning. The temple has been beautifully decorated with flowers in honor of Ram Navami, and Lord Ram has been adorned with divine attire.
