
New Delhi, June 14: Delhi’s Minister of Social Welfare and Bawana MLA, Ravinder Indraj Singh, inaugurated various development projects worth ₹10 crore in Puth Khurd village on Sunday. This initiative is part of the Delhi Rural Development Board Fund.
According to officials, the projects include strengthening village roads, constructing footpaths, developing drainage systems, and enhancing water drainage facilities and civic infrastructure.
Ravinder Indraj Singh stated that the completion of these projects will improve connectivity in Puth Khurd and surrounding areas, reduce waterlogging issues, and provide better civic amenities to local residents.
He emphasized, “Strengthening connectivity in rural areas will ease daily commutes, improve access to business activities, and ensure better connectivity to essential public services. This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing rural infrastructure through the Delhi Rural Development Board.”
The Minister highlighted that providing modern and improved infrastructure in Delhi’s rural areas through the Delhi Rural Development Board Fund is a government priority.
He noted that the development projects initiated in Puth Khurd are not limited to road and drainage construction; they have been designed with a comprehensive approach to ensure the overall development of the village, improve quality of life, and address future needs.
Indraj mentioned that strong roads, efficient drainage systems, and better connectivity are the foundations of sustainable rural development.
Just a day prior, development projects worth ₹20 crore were launched in Deep Vihar, followed by the ₹10 crore projects in Puth Khurd.
Minister Indraj stated that this reflects the government’s serious commitment and focused approach towards the development of the Bawana assembly constituency.
In the future, these development initiatives will be visibly impactful on the ground, directly benefiting the local population and allowing them to experience the positive effects.
He added that the Delhi government, through the Delhi Rural Development Board, is continuously working to strengthen basic civic amenities in every village and colony within the Bawana assembly area.
Furthermore, he indicated that additional projects will be launched to promote development, sanitation, transportation facilities, and the expansion of civic infrastructure, aiming to better integrate rural Delhi into the mainstream of development.
