New Delhi, August 10: The Delhi Metro has launched a special train themed around ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ as part of the celebrations for India’s 80th Independence Day. This train features patriotic slogans, including the prominent ‘Har Ghar Tiranga.’ According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the train operates on the Yellow Line.
DMRC shared this initiative on the social media platform X, highlighting that the themed train is part of a week-long series of events celebrating the spirit of freedom. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign coincides with the 150th anniversary of India’s national song, ‘Vande Mataram,’ encouraging citizens to proudly hoist the national flag and participate in digital programs.
Across the country, the Tiranga Yatra has been organized, and the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative has gained momentum. Launched in 2022 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, this campaign has evolved into a widespread movement promoting national pride and public participation. The campaign runs from August 9 to 17 this year.
Prime Minister Modi reposted a message from the Ministry of Culture on X, stating that our tricolor is our pride and a continuous source of inspiration to give our best for the nation. He urged everyone to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and reaffirm their collective resolve to contribute to building a ‘Developed India.’ This year’s efforts are dedicated to ‘Vande Mataram,’ especially as we celebrate its 150th anniversary.
Additionally, the Ministry of Culture launched the campaign’s website, ‘hargarhtiranga.com,’ emphasizing that for the past 150 years, the call of ‘Vande Mataram’ has stirred the soul of the nation. As India unites for Tiranga Yatras, rallies, musical events, and mass singing this Independence Day, let us spread that spirit to every street and home.
