New Delhi, August 20: On the occasion of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to him. In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, he wrote, “I pay my respects to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary. He played a significant role in India’s development journey.”
Congress leader Sachin Pilot also took to social media, stating, “Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi believed in adopting modern technology and new ideas for India’s construction and progress. It was essential to provide proper arrangements and opportunities for the participation and development of youth talent.”
Pilot added, “With his vision, he redefined modernization in the country. Key decisions like the expansion of the computer and telecommunications revolution played a crucial role in elevating the nation. On his birth anniversary, I pay my heartfelt respects.”
Congress MP Pawan Khera posted on ‘X’, “Rajiv Gandhi was not only the Prime Minister of India but also one of the biggest supporters of youth, a leader who believed that young Indians are not just the future but the force that will build a modern nation.
