Controversy Surrounds Singer Badshah Over Tatti Song; Arrest Imminent

Panchkula, March 19: Punjabi singer Badshah has found himself embroiled in controversy over his song “Tatti.” Two FIRs have already been filed against him, and his arrest may be imminent. Renu Bhatia, the chairperson of the Haryana State Women’s Commission, stated that a thorough investigation is underway regarding the singer’s case.

In an exclusive interview, Bhatia mentioned, “Badshah’s arrest will happen soon, as our senior officials have confirmed that the investigation is being conducted seriously, and his arrest will take place shortly.” She emphasized that all individuals involved in the song’s production, including the use of buses and the actions of drivers, will face repercussions.

Bhatia remarked, “Using government property without permission is wrong. Everyone remembers the crime that occurred on a bus in Delhi. If an incident happens on government buses, who will be responsible? If someone misuses our government buses with schoolgirls on board, will we just stand by? That cannot happen. I believe we should not allow such authority to persist, as it affects our future.”

She urged all state women’s commissions and women in high positions to protect the women and culture of the country from such singers. “The Uttar Pradesh Women’s Commission has taken action in this matter and has banned his events in the state. I appeal to all women in positions of power to file protests against those who jeopardize women’s safety or harm our culture.”

The National Women’s Commission has taken significant action regarding Badshah’s song “Tatti.” Utilizing its powers under the National Commission for Women Act of 1990, the commission has taken cognizance of media reports alleging obscenity and indecency related to the song. Summons have been issued to Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, known as Badshah (singer and songwriter), Mahi Sandhu (director), Joban Sandhu (director), and Hiten (producer), all of whom are required to appear on March 25.
