
Mumbai, February 11: The highly anticipated period drama film ‘Swayambhu’ is set to hit theaters soon. Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, the film features Nikhil alongside actresses Sayukta and Nabha Natesh in lead roles.
Recently, actor Nikhil made significant revelations about the film. He explained that the story of ‘Swayambhu’ is inspired by the ancient symbol Sengol, which represents righteous governance, justice, and moral authority. Nikhil stated, “The film ‘Swayambhu’ draws from a very special aspect of Indian history, specifically the history of Sengol.”
He elaborated that while many recognize Sengol primarily as an ancient scepter, few are aware of its deeper significance. Nikhil noted, “Sengol was first given by Lord Shri Ram to his descendants. It symbolizes the power of just governance and ruling with integrity. This Sengol has traveled through India’s history, holding special importance in great empires like the Chola dynasty. We have crafted an imaginative yet captivating story around Sengol and our hero.”
Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, the film establishes a golden age during the Chola Empire, known for its grandeur. Fans are eagerly anticipating the film’s release. The teaser will be launched on February 11 during a grand pan-India event held simultaneously in two cities. Further details about the film remain under wraps.
