Mumbai, September 3: Television actresses Rubina Dilaik and Hina Khan recently referred to social media influencer Asim Riaz as a “nuisance value” during a podcast. In response, Riaz took to his social media platform, X, to address their remarks.
Asim Riaz shared a note targeting the two TV stars, stating, “I watched a clip from the podcast where industry veterans discussed how I bring TRP to every reality show. Yes, I do. Good luck with your careers, and keep playing your roles as puppets in the industry.”
The podcast featured both actresses’ husbands as well. Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla host a podcast called ‘The 4 POV,’ where they discuss publicity, controversies, and the role of contestants in popularizing reality shows alongside Hina Khan and her husband, Rocky. During the episode, they also talked about Riaz’s claims regarding his contribution to the success and TRP of reality shows.
Hina Khan mentioned an interview where Asim Riaz spoke about his influence on shows like Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi, and Battlegrounds. She pointed out that Riaz seemed to imply that his presence was the reason for these shows’ popularity.
Rubina Dilaik, who has worked with Asim Riaz on shows like Battlegrounds and Khatron Ke Khiladi, accused him of using abusive language towards crew and creative team members during the filming of Battlegrounds. She also criticized Riaz for his arrogance, suggesting that he believes the show’s success is solely due to him.
She labeled Riaz as a “source of trouble” for the show and questioned the current standing of someone who displays such pride.
